The Blue Bell Inn is officially open and we are so excited to have you as our guests! This has been quite an adventure for us. As we adorned the beds with quilts and washed the last few windows I think we all welled up with pride and excitement. We have worked hard the last few months cleaning and scrubbing, searching high and low for the most comfortable sheets and comforters, towels and accessories to lose yourself in. I hope we provide you with the most wonderful nights sleep ( away from home) that you have ever had, this has been our goal as we have prepared for you.
The Blue Bell is situated in the beautiful historic village of Millersburg, Ohio in Holmes County. The property is located just one block from downtown Millersburg's shopping district featuring many unique antique shops, dining and more. I may be partial, as this is where I grew up, but Millersburg is a wonderful place to land for a weekend. Shop while music plays in the streets, catch a burger and an exotic beer or fine wine at Bag's Sports Pub or maybe pad down to the Hotel and enjoy music on the patio on the weekends. There are many new shops that line our streets, all of them owned by good people, offering unique products to suit your taste. We are 8 minutes to the west of Berlin, centrally located about 1.5 hours to the east of Columbus and 1.5 hours to the south of Cleveland.
The Inn is nestled in amongst large trees and landscaping that will give you the feeling you have entered a secret garden. You will be in the village, but feel as if you are in a cozy country cottage away from the world. Everything downtown is just a block away and within walking distance. When you get back, enjoy a fire while the soothing sound of the garden pond takes you to a tranquil place. Most likely you will see an amish buggy or two or three pass while you are here.
I will have fresh baked cookies awaiting your arrival, and breakfast in the mornings will be a light breakfast of my choosing brought to your door. Coffee and tea is in your room for you to enjoy at your leisure.
Blue Bell Inn is a very cozy, 2 bedroom 1 bath ( tub and seperate walk in shower) with fully furnished kitchen, living room, private enclosed porch. We are "kid friendly" but we do ask that parents do not leave their children unsupervised. There is a tv/dvd system with dvd's and cable tv provided. Sleeps 5 with 1 queen, 1 twin daybed, 1 queen sleeper sofa.
